There are several steps you need to go through and you must pass three separate driving tests before you are eligible for full driving privilege. It is best that you do your research and sign up with a certified driving instructor who will not only teach you how to drive but also will educate you on the whole process. There are lot of individual driving instructors as well as registered driving schools who will teach you to drive. Based on the instructor you choose, you may have to pay per lesson or a fixed amount for the whole course.
Each driving lesson is usually an hour long. Depending on the driving instructor you pick, you may or may not have the option to choose the time and frequency of the lessons. Driving schools usually follow a certain schedule and allows less flexibility on timing. If you select an individual instructor who is licensed, you may have better flexibility on the timing and how many days you want to get the driving lessons.
