Day 21 -- Intro & Contents

The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him. It can be a word of knowledge or a word of wisdom, but God tells secrets to those who respond to the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

The photo is of a meeting in Peru. We were teaching the young people to surrender to God, and spend time listening in His presence.

Day 21 -- Article

Hear More Secrets

FOCUS ON JESUS. Conviction brings Jesus into focus. What is the issue God is convicting you about? It is always something anchored in who Jesus is.

Is God showing you what's wrong? Get it out of the way so Jesus can pour blessing into your life. Is He showing you what's right? Move into it so the works and the nature of Jesus can be seen in you. Is He showing you what's done? Start agreeing with God and thanking Jesus for what He's already done for you at the cross. Then start assuming that you are who God says you are as a new creature in Christ, and act accordingly.

THE FLOW OF WORDS. Conviction sets you up for a flow of words. The key is to act on what God is convicting you about. This is the way to quiet your heart, and conviction will always steer you towards Jesus. The result? You will find yourself tuned in to the flow of words, of revelation, or of wisdom that He wants to give you.

Remember that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and that the secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him. If you respond quickly whenever He convicts you about anything, you will become one who is quick to receive wisdom and secrets from the Lord.

Day 21 -- Action Step

Hear More Secrets

Act on conviction as fast as you can. Then watch for the flow of words and wisdom that will pour out of the mouth of God.

Day 21 -- Video

Hear More Secrets

If the conviction of the Holy Spirit is the fear of the Lord, conviction is an invitation to a flow of revelation or other secrets from God. Conviction therefore often is God's invitation for us to hear more from Him. Respond as quickly as you can when He convicts you; your doing so is an investment in the fear of the Lord which is a new beginning of wisdom.

Thanks Stan. I've felt the need for both fasting and prayer. I've neglected my alone time for to long. I've felt this "conviction" and I'm going to respond. I'd appreciate your prayers for success to see the desire of God upon my life.

Mary knew how to turn water into wine: "Whatsoever He says to you, do it." I rejoice that God is moving you to act on something He's calling you to do. Blessings -- Stan

Thanks for your comment, and for the good news that you'd rather go to Jesus first thing than the computer. We post a lot of information on the computer, but Jesus' words are Spirit and life...Blessings!

The Language Of Conviction

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Many people quote this verse, but what is the fear of the Lord? A good working definition is what Jesus called the conviction of the Holy Spirit. As we yield to conviction, it opens a fountain of divine wisdom to us.
