Day 31 -- Intro & Contents
My ministry travels took me to Dunamis Resources, a ministry in Las Vegas. They make a habit of soaking in God's presence together, looking for "initiatives of heaven", and acting on what they sense God is telling them to do. They always devote half an hour or more to testimonies whenever they meet. Many of their people are often finding ministry opportunities in daily life; they lead many to Christ; they experience a lot of miracles.
What are "initiatives of heaven"? The many ways God can speak, either with words or with non-verbals.

Multiply To Go Deeper
If you want to go deeper in learning to hear from God, work through this devotional a second time - but this time take someone with you.
It might be a good friend or a family member; it might be a small group that meets in your church; it might be someone you meet for coffee once a week. And if you've been thinking of starting a home group, this may be a good way to do it.
There are several reasons this will take you deeper. (1) The materials are not just information; they focus on engaging with God. As you grow more intimate with Him, the simplest exercises in this devotional will become more meaningful to you. (2) You and your friend or group can share testimonies. Testimonies make the grace of God contagious. The experiences of two or more who have gathered in His name will benefit all. (3) As you share what you have learned so far it will teach you the things of God more deeply. So here are a few ways to go deeper with others.
(1) Go through the devotional with just one friend. It can be anybody, but the important thing is to compare notes as you go. Share testimonies and share what you learn step-by-step as you go.
Pace yourselves. You might be able to finish the devotional in 31 days, but do one page every two days if it helps. The important thing is to get in the habit of listening to God often.
(2) Go through the devotional with a group. Small groups often use study notes from outside to give the group a focus. But don't let the group sessions turn into a lecture. Share testimonies, share new insights, and take time to minister to one another.
Everybody's busy these days, so a group would probably need to work through 1-3 days of the devotional every week. It would be unlikely that everyone in the group would have time to work through all 7 days each week.
Your group can be simple. It might be three co-workers who have lunch together once a week. It might be a few friends who meet for coffee every Saturday. Have as much fun as you can, and celebrate one another's victories as you share testimonies.

Day 31 -- Action Step
Multiply To Go Deeper
Before you go through the devotional a second time, ask God who should go through it with you.
It may be obvious: maybe you have a friend who wants a study like this; maybe you lead a small group and are looking for new study materials.
If it's obvious, it's probably because God has already set things up. But if it isn't obvious, take time to listen. Surrender the whole idea to Him, and let God call the shots. Wait for Him to direct you; once He does, it's time to move forward.

Multiply To Go Deeper
Over the years, God has faithfully given me friends who hungered to go further into God, just as I did. Often we would stir one another; we would step out of our comfort zone together, and we would share testimonies. Testimonies make the grace of God contagious.
If you get a friend or a small group to go through the 31-day devotional with you, the important thing is not to develop a following for yourself or for me. The goal is to grow more sensitive to the many ways God will speak. Whatever God teaches one of you will spill over to bless the other(s) as you share your struggles and testimonies. You'll learn much more this way.

- At your request brother Stan here are a few other materials, websites, ministries.
Kris Vallotton Kris is a recognized prophet of the Lord. The one book from him I recommend, and there are many others, is "Basic Training for the Prophetic Ministry" This is a workbook with exercises.
his website http://www.kvministries.com/
James W. Goll a Seer of the Lord. The book and workbook I recommend from him is "The Seer" (the book) and Developing the Seer in You (the Workbook), he also has many other resources
Another book which I hear is AMAZING! "How to Hear God's Voice" this is a very indepth workbook. This is Christian Leadership University's #1 study material.
Even though some of these are geared toward the prophetic ministry or actual office, they will help anyone to develop a learning and listening ear.

- I'll be doing this myself ASAP. I'm planning to get a small group together and go through the lessons. As we develop testimonies, I'll post them here or on one of my blogs.

- These devotionals have changed my life! I'm more sensitive to the Holy Spirit now and the many ways He will speak more than ever.
Before I found this devotional God led me to about 3 different books on being more sensitive to the Holy Spirit and hearing from Him. Put all that together along with this devotional, and a person would have to be deaf willingly not to hear from God.
Thanks so much! You're in my prayers
God Bless

Go Deeper
Go deeper in learning to hear from God by (1) maintaining a sense of adventure as you experience more and more of Him; (2) making a habit of seeking God for at least 5 opportunities a week to share a word in season with somebody; and (3) working through the devotional again, but this time taking a friend or a group with you.
