Modeling is something that has many different branches and has oppertunities for people from every race, age or look.

Commercials need kids, teenagers, average looking people and old people.

However to make it big, you will need to be good-looking, not neccesarily the stereotype of a model, tall flawless body and bronze skin, maybe very good-looking but in a unique sort of way.

People like change, and as long as you are aestetically pleasing to the eye,you can do very well.

Most major cities in the world have a couple of modeling agencies.

The best thing to do if you want to get started is to do a search online, google modeling agencies and the area that you stay in.

You will get a list of agencies, just visit their websites and see what their requirements are.

I've included some of the bigger well known agencies in this module, clicking on their logo will take you to the agencies home page.




If you think you have what it takes to become a model, all modeling agency sites allow you to submit your details and one or more photographs to potentially sign up with them.




No, you do not need to invest in professional photographs, if the agency thinks you have potential, they will do the portfolio for you.
