- In reality, falling short in learning guitar is not based on the kind of guitar, but more on your passion and perseverance. You have to be dedicated & passionate, and learning guitar will be easy. I learned on an acoustic guitar, and agree to 100% what you say in the article why this is the way to go. Good job.

- great article. I want to learn guitar, and thought about starting with electric because my goal is to play in a band, but I guess I just changed my mind.... think I start with my acoustic until I know the basics... thank again for the insight.
