Yes, i've found this lens helpful (and the one of female artists, too!). i want to add another KEY resource for learning art history -- "250 Masterpieces in Western Painting". This set of art history cards depicts the most famous paintings from the Renaissance to the 1960s; each work is analyzed by an art historian, too, who explains why the work matters.

Check 'em out at www.TheMasterpieceCards.com. i'd love to send you some samples!
