Learn Basic Digital Photography (this lens and my blog) has been designed to help anyone really learn the art of basic or advanced digital photography.
If it is your desire to create great photographs then you have come to the best place to learn how to master using your digital camera and learn digital photography.
There are two major steps to the process:
1. Learn to use your digital camera
2. Learn to create pictures.
The first step is technical and mechanical. You must learn what each function on your camera does and how it helps you to take photographs. You must also learn how it interacts with photography.
That leads to the second step. This is the creative aspects of photography. It's more than just looking through the viewfinder or looking at the LCD monitor and snapping the picture.
If you want to learn basic digital photography or any type of photography, you must learn the basis of photography.
Yes you have to be able to use your camera, but if you do not apply the creative aspects of photography you will continue to wonder why your photographs do not turn out to be like the ones in the magazines. The quality of your photographs will not reach the level that you hoped for when you bought that great digital camera.
Over time, you are about to go on a journey of discovering digital photography. The quality of your photographs will begin to approach the level that the professionals obtain.
