Netting
Netting gives an open lacey effect. Other names for this stitch include Victorian Lace and Mexican Lace. There are two ways of doing netting - horizontal and vertical. There is also a form of netting used by the Saraguro people of South America that instead of going through beads, loops the thread between beads. Learn Netted Beadwork
