Learn French Language
If you have decided to learn to Speak French then you will need a good course to make your experience a rewarding one. The French language is a Romance language that has its origins in Latin; other members of this family are Spanish, Italian, Catalan, Portuguese and Romanian. It has influences from the native Celtic languages and from the Germanic languages of Europe as tribes migrated and spread through ancient Europe. It is the official language of many countries spread all around the world from its origins in Europe to the Americas, Pacific and Africa through colonisation.
There are many different dialects and Creoles that have evolved and these can vary immensely and are not necessarily understood by other French speakers in different parts of the world. It is a popular choice for anyone wanting to learn a new or second language and is portrayed by the media as the language of love. French is so widely spread as a language that fluency can be of great benefit all around the world and offer new career prospects for anyone who has taken the time to learn it.
Over forty countries use the French language as the official one and many others have adopted a bi-lingual system that have two different official languages such as Canada which uses English and French both as the official languages of the country. French is taught in many schools as an optional subject along with the choice of other languages such as German and Spanish.
Although we should all strive to learn another language to better understand our neighbours it is a sad fact that we do not embrace languages as we would other subjects. But it is never too late to learn so many people do choose to embark on the journey of other languages and French is an ideal choice.
