IF you're new to Polish, there are some basics you will have to learn, whether you're eight years old or 80, on business abroad or a tourist on holiday. Talk Now! Polish offers a simple-to-use method for you to start learning the language, whoever you are.
Will it work for me?
Lots of people have difficulty learning languages. Why? Most have been put off at school, don't have time to learn, or think they are too lazy to do it.
Talk Now! Polish answers these problems:
It lifts the language off the page. There are no dull exercises; just encouraging games that award you points for progress.
It fits easily into short ten-minute sessions. But if you want to push yourself you can learn the basics in a weekend.
if you think you're lazy, think again! You'll be amazed how motivated you can be when you enjoy the experience of learning!
What will I learn?
To speak and understand enough to "get by".
You're just starting, so we won't drop you in at the deep end. There are some things you'll want to say in any language: you'll want to say 'hello', order a drink, ask for directions and so on.
This beginners program gets straight to the point. It covers food, colors, shopping, parts of the body, numbers, telling the time, countries, greetings and essential phrases.
How does it work?
Talk Now! Polish gives you easy-to-achieve goals. Learning a new language is far too big a task to tackle all at once, so we have broken it down into a series of rewarding challenges.
Play interactive language games. Talk Now! feeds you new words, along with pictures to reinforce your memory. It then tests your knowledge with fun quizzes. As soon as you start playing you start learning.
Earn points for every game you play. High scorers can go on to win bronze, silver and gold awards, which you can print out as a record of achievement.
You will hear Polish all of the time and, using the recording games, you can start speaking straight away, then compare your voice to a native speaker.
You can learn on the move. Carry on learning in the airport lounge or the ferry without a computer. Just print out the phrasebook sheets included in the program and take them with you, or upload the program's sound files onto an iPod.

Learning the Polish Language Made Simple
Learning the Polish Language Made Simple

Ask anyone, except those who really have to deal with the Poles personally, what new language they would wish to learn. They would probably choose any European, Asian or even Arabic language but rarely would you hear an eager answer that Polish would be it. That is understandable enough for even Poland's own people say that they too make mistakes in speaking their own tongue. Many may argue that Polish is not the hardest language to learn but it is undoubtedly one of those that can hardly have an 'idiot's guide'.
So is learning the Polish language nearly impossible? It is not and there are ways that could make it even simple. One only has to get for himself the most effective instruction he can find. If there is will, there is a way is how the cliché goes. However, there may be a hundred and one ways of instruction but, certainly, not all of those are guaranteed to be effective.
There are volumes of printed materials that are readily available for the Polish language learner. Even surfing the internet and reading certain blogs could help. These, however, have limitations. The learner's eyes may not be able to get exactly the pronunciation of the word 'szczebrzeszynie' or even a shorter one like 'dobrze'. Of course, it would be easy to get every Polish word's translation. It is a lot different when the words have to be used in conversing though. Without ever getting the right pronunciation, the language learner may just sound like someone speaking English with a fistful of chewing gums inside his mouth.
For learning the Polish language to be simple, it has to be heard by the learner as often as possible. Every word, after presenting the meaning or translation, should be uttered several times with the correct pronunciation to the learner's ear. Every phrase, with the right intonation and usage, should also be heard several times until the learner is not only able to absorb these in his memory but is also capable of using it himself. Definitely, no book can facilitate the Polish language learner with these. Unless, if it is a book that talks.
If MP3 music lovers tend to memorize every line of their favorite songs after constantly playing, it is certainly possible for anyone to simply learn the Polish language soon if it uses the same technology. The Polish language learner only need to have an audio book that he can play on his digital media player even repeatedly if he needs to just to make certain he gets every word or phrase correctly. Audio books as Pimsleur Polish I Complete Course and Collins Polish will certainly aid the learner acquire the language simply. Both, as well as other Polish language learning audio books can be easily downloaded from the Talking Book Store's wide array (talking-book-store.com). This makes the first step to learning Polish even simpler by just a few clicks of the computer mouse.

Learning Polish is Easy When You Know How
Learning Polish is Easy When You Know How
By Jim Oneil
Poland is one of the few attractive countries today when it comes to investments. No kidding. International rating agencies, investment fund companies and banks are all praising the Polish economy, which is doing better than most other economies.
It's Poland's time to shine and investors are flocking to the eastern European country, or if not, have tried to adapt in the rapid expansion of the country's umbrella for the starving global community. But wouldn't it be a shame if you flew there, carrying just a pocketful of Polish vocabulary?
Polish uses a unique alphabet but you don't have to trouble yourself with it initially. The spoken language will do. It's enough to help you navigate through a crowd or in downtown Warsaw, establish connections between local businessmen and authorities, and enjoy the country's cultural treats better.
In-between checking your Facebook and Twitter accounts, why not search for the most preferred methods of learning Polish? The internet holds almost all necessary information in the world and it sure can help you polish your Polish-speaking skills or get you started from scratch.
Online foreign language courses are becoming popular for practical reasons. They are a lot cheaper than hiring a personal language instructor; more fun, convenient and interactive than a textbook; more time-flexible than a classroom program; and you can actually download some of these online courses pass them on to your spouse, kids or whoever cares to learn some new languages.
Included in these courses are the online tutorials in the forms of the language e-books and conferences, as well as the online courses that are available in audio book format. While the online conferences are more like the translator gizmo, the language audio books, especially those that use the Pimsleur method, are generally recognized as having a more effective approach.
The Pimsleur Polish language program lets you have all the control over your learning. You set the pace; you decide when to listen to the audio modules. You simply download the audio book after paying the fee with your debit or credit car, and then you can have it for good.
It is more convenient on your part. You don't have to set or reset your schedule for your next language conference or translation lesson. You won't be having any hassles of the same nature when you have the audio books. You simply listen to the program using your iPod, pocket computer or smart phone.
Here, you will be making more use of your ears, as well as your lips. And that means you're taught conversational Polish, so you don't have to worry about the 'weird' alphabet and the pronunciation of certain consonants. Then you'll be speaking Karol Wojtyla's (better known as Pope John Paul II) mother tongue the way regular Poles do.
However, you have to remember that Polish is one of the most difficult languages in the world. The audio book provides you not just the complete set of lessons in Polish grammar, vocabulary, and other speech components, but also the right to have a fair option, most especially when you feel like discontinuing your Polish language lessons.
