My Frustration With Learning Excel
A short story on my struggles with Excel.
I used to have very limited skills with Excel. Although I would do the reading and follow the training classes, there seemed a large separation from what I was learning in the class to what I needed to use in my job. This was very frustrating to say the least as I was actually ending up shying away from using Excel altogether.This frustration was impacting my work as a business analyst as I was often unable to take on more significant projects because of my limited computer skills. The result was I was of less value to my team and my company. In addition, this played on my self-esteem as I felt these were skills I needed to really learn, but was afraid I would be unable to do so.
