Learn Polish for Free with Me!
I have a really good reason to build this website, I am marrying a Polish girl and her parents don't speak English! I'm trying to get together all the best, completely FREE, Polish language help on the net. I will be using it at the same time and will write reviews about which sites I think are the most helpful.
Hope you find the site helpful.
Happy learning.

Update..
Now living in Australia with my Polish WIFE!!
Learning Polish is still a huge work in progress - how many times am I told it's the hardest of all languages to learn.
We have set up Melbournes only (or one of very few) Polish language schools.
This is our Squidoo web link.

Let's call this day 1.
Getting motivated
I think that learning the language of a country that you are not in is one of the hardest things to do. It's all about motivation. Well that's the reason I started this Web Site really, to help me focus on trying to learn Polish. To get started today I'm just going to read through, write down and say aloud the numbers from one to ten. Simple, yeh, but that's where I'm at..
1 jeden
2 dwa
3 trzy
4 cztery
5 piec
6 szesc
7 siedem
8 osiem
9 dziewiec
10 dziesiec
Now, if you are following this, you should probably go to the links below to find a phoenetic spelling of these words. Also - Polish characters are different.
Being able to read the Polish sounds is the thing I feel - as a begginer -is the most important. Within the numbers one to 10 are many really good examples of letter sounds that you need to learn to be able to speak polish. Trying to pronounce 3 - trzy - is one of the hardest. Something like t-tsher.
For my second little Polish practice today - I go to the podcast - oneminutepolish on Itunes and repeat some of the exercises.
I'll put the link below in case you don't have itunes.
I'm going to try and Blog my progress and I think the best way to do that is to link this part of my website to my blog page at learnpolishwithme.wordpress.com
www.learnpolishwithme.wordpress.com.
Happy learning.
**25th June**
I found this great complete program for begginers which I'm following. It's the bottom link in my links list or this adress - http://grzegorj.w.interia.pl/kurs/index.html. I have pasted the first page as a lesson to my Blog page where it is much easier to read.
Happy Learning!
Here are all the links that I've found so far.
This is the main focus of this web page. I want to get as many free and helpful web pages for learning Polish as I can.
Let me know if YOU find any different ones.

- Good job! My Mom was born in Poland but my Dad (although he was of Baltic/Slavic heritage) was born in the USA. So although I did learn the basic pronunciations of words that many ppl find difficult, my vocabulary is very limited! Suffice it to say, I can pray and swear fluently ;) Here's to expanding our horizons!

- Hi there, I really appreciate this! I too have just married a Polish man, like you his parents don't speak English. So I have taken it upon my self to learn the language....I seem to be picking up the basics but have a hard time with the spelling. I can read it but a wee bit illiterate:) I will try to tune into you. Thanks again! Michelle Odrzywolski how do you like that last name lol. I practically had to take a course to pronounce it.
