How To Do a Kickflip
Before you learn how to do a kick flip it is very important that you are confident with your ollie's, if you can't ollie you won't be able to kick flip. Some people say you are better off learning how to kick flip while moving, however, I recommend that you first try it on grass or carpet, as you're less likely to hurt yourself this way.
Stand with your feet in the ollie position, your front foot should be about 45° to your back foot, this is to make it easier to kick the board into a flip.
Pop the board into an ollie to get as much height as you can, the higher the better as it will make it easier for the board to spin.
Now move your front foot up towards the nose and out, flicking the board down into a flip as you go. This is a very important part, don't just flick your foot down and straight out as you will not land this trick. Your front foot has to go forward before it goes out to make it easier to land.
To make the board flip you only need to flick it gently with your foot, don't try to do this as hard as you can because you don't need much power at all. It will take practice to realise just how easy it is to flick the board.
Your back foot should be up in the air and clear of the board as it is spinning, the board should spin cleanly under your feet and you should be able to land it with your feet just over the trucks.
When you are comfortable with this trick you should start trying a while moving, don't go too fast at first and make sure you're comfortable and your feet are positioned correctly.
Keep practising till you get it, and have fun.

Learn Skateboard Tricks - Reviews of the Tutorial.

Wow! I couldn't believe how detailed all the trick tips in your guide were. It contained so many subtle and specific points that I never considered.
I especially like Part 2 of your book since it opened my eyes to so many different things I can do to improve my skating.
Ever since starting the trick progression technique you mentioned, I learned 3 new goal tricks and I'm so pumped to skate everyday! Thanks!

I found every single technique in the book incredibly helpful. The trick tips are A LOT more helpful than other ones I've come across. They are way more in-depth, explained a lot better, and of course written out so they can be followed easily. I am definitely going to be telling my friends about this book.

Thank you so much for revealing your skateboarding secrets. Since reading your book last month, I have already learned 4 new tricks- the backside flip, frontside flip, hard flip and switch heelflip.
It was really cool of you to reveal your methods and techniques- they were unquestionably helpful.
If I could learn new tricks in under a month, then absolutely anyone can learn new tricks!
