We are entering a new understanding of animal communication
More and more people and especially more children are experiencing the ability to communicate with all living things. Well let me rethink that statement. Perhaps it's not that more people are experiencing this great ability but that our society is beginning to give a positive nod to it and thus giving permission to explore it and share it with the world.
DO YOU THINK YOU CAN TALK TO THE ANIMALS?
My beginnings as an Animal Communicator -
...I wasn't talking to the animals at this point as much as I was listening to them
When I was a little girl I could hear the animals. It wasn't something I had to learn, it was just there. It was as natural for me as sitting around the dinner table and hearing my families stories. Now don't be thinking that I was walking around hearing the thoughts of every squirrel and stray cat in my neighbourhood. It's not the way this all works.(more on that later)As my childhood began to fade and my beliefs in the tooth fairy dissolved, so did my ability to "listen" to the animals. Yet unlike the fairy tales,I knew that what I experienced was real.
Then...10 years ago I walked into a horse stable and BAMM!..I was blown away by all the energy the horses were so freely throwing around. I felt myself reaching for the stable door just to steady myself and in silence I began to take in all the familiar conversations from my childhood.
Since that time I have both pulled and pushed this gift away from me. I(like you) like to be seen as "normal".So saying out load, "I can talk with the animals" has been a long soul searching process.
Now it is an acceptable piece of me(most of the time) and I can now openly share this gift with people who love and care deeply for their fellow animal friends.
I hope to use this lens to share experiences with you and to answer any questions or curious thoughts you may have about the process of learning to be an Animal Communicator.

Top 10 ways to begin to learn how to communicate with animals
There is no one in my circle of friends that relates...hello!...not a mainstream thing(yet). So trusting myself was a biggee. Was this for real? Am I one of those far-out wierdos? Oh God, please no!But the very fact was,I could not deny what was happening. I COULD pick up on what they were saying and I COULD feel the energy they were sending and I COULD feel their physical pain.I COULD talk to the animals.
So in my silent "tell no one about it' world I began to trust this incredible process. Inside I was elated, but my logical mind was screaming, "This can't be real".

Where I reached out for support to learn animal communication
A starting point for you
Among these few were my husband. Of course he knew that this was a part of me...but he never truely believed it and seemed to always have the same response when I bravely approached the subject..."Don't go all wierd on me now"...not exactly a self-esteem builder. But hey...if it was strange for me, I can see how it freaked him out.
I studied and learned from Barbara over the course of two years. Through her workshops I met incredible women much like myself.(why does this seem to be a woman thing?)...and eventually I didn't feel so wierd any more.

...and that is to get feed back from the animals care giver.
Okay deep breathe...it was time to ask if I could attempt to do a reading on someones animal friend. Notice how I didn't use the word "pet". I believe that we are in a mutual respectful relationship when we agree to become a caregiver to an animal.
So with sweaty palms and a lump in my throat I gathered enough courage to tell a co-worker about my well kept secret. I barely got out my story when she excitedly asked,"Can you do a reading on my new puppy?" and everyone involved including myself was astonished!
I was able to give solid facts about this beautiful puppy named Mia. (everyone needs confirmation that this is the real deal) and more enjoyable was tapping into her unique personality and her perspective of life.
My co-worker was impressed enough to tell other people and before long I was sought out by countless eager animal lovers to check in on their animal friends.
Whether I am conversing with a dog, cat, horse, bird or iguana... each and every time I am humbled and honored ...and always humored.
Below are some of the books that inspired, educated and most of all gave me the confidence to share my life with these incredible animal beings.

Hi Rhonda
I will certainly do my part in helping your dog...if you would like to send me your email I can contact you personally. All messages go directly to my email and will not show here unless I approve it.(and of course I would not publicize you email.)
In the meantime you can certainly send a message of wellness to your dog. The most effective way of doing this is to place your hand on his/her heart and to send images of well being. In this case it may be images of running free in the woods or taking long walks together or of him/her eating great food.In each case see your dog as healthy and happy. Stay with each image for a long moment until you can feel what I call a pure love connection and that the image feels solid and real in your minds eye. Words are not neccessary, just beautiful images of wellness.
...You can do this several times a day.
