This course includes games to make learning piano fun.

You will learn to play chords. Why do I mention this. Because in traditional piano you'll learn to read the bass clef and the treble clef. However, if you learn to play chords with your left hand and to play the melody with your right hand this make learning to play gospel piano much easier to learn. The reason is because now you only have to read the treble clef. This means the notes that you're playing on the right hand. So to conclude, play chords with your left hand and the melody with your right hand.

This course goes beyond just playing gospel piano, but it also teaches an introduction to jazz piano.

Conclusion: I recommend this course for beginners who want to learn gospel piano as it is inexpensive and easy to follow. However, even though this course states that it is for beginners, intermediate, and advanced. I do not recommend this for advanced level users. Just a heads up for advanced users.

Gospel Piano - Hardest Way to Learn

I'm going to talk about something that I wrote in an above article. When I was growing up I took piano lessons up until I was in grade 8. And then I quit. I was classically trained and this is the hardest way to learn gospel piano. This requires much practice and takes years to really become a skilled gospel piano player. However, I discovered through my music leader at my church how to play chords. At first I was confused because on one sheet of music he had 10 notes or so and this was confusing to me. What he had written was chords. So now you play chords with the left hand and the melody with the right hand. If you have more questions about this. Talk to your music leader. If you're not in a church, then you can get a fake book in your local music shop. Obviously, since we're talking about gospel piano, you'll get a fake book for gospel piano. This is what professionals use.
