- Oooh, lovely. I'd love to have a few like this. Unfortunately, my diaries are usually filled up so fast I'd never be able to afford this! I do have a lens on keeping diaries, with some cheaper ideas for materials, but these are MUCH prettier than mine!

- Great lens but with my lousy handwriting I'd be too intimidated to use one of these but I know someone who would really love the embossed leather ones and do it justice. Bookmarked for the next gift giving occasion.

- Keeping a journal is almost always a good idea... but keep it someplace safe so that your siblings won't randomly find it and read it. That was my experience as a kid. :)
I would absolutely buy the "world's thickest journal" also, because it's just awesome and gorgeous... but, at the same time, I actually get tired of the books I'm journaling in if it takes more than a year to fill one up, so I try to keep my journals small. =)

- These are almost too beautiful to write in. I've kept a diary since 1969, but use the same page-a-day one with the same binding each year.
These would be very nice for special journaling projects.

- I use a journal to stay on track with my goals.. Great way to do it!
One of these sure would motivate me even more! How can you NOT do what you promise yourself if you write it in this work of art!

- Great lens, and I enjoyed your passionate writing about journaling. I love blank books and journals - have an entire bookshelf devoted to them. Alas, not too many leather ones, despite their beauty (the Legends and the Gold Roses are particularly stunning).

- Ooh, yummy lens. I love journals and handbound books of all kinds. I designed some miniature ones and end up writing in those more than the large ones because, I suppose, they require less commitment and give closure... You've encouraged me to start on one of the big ones. That's the only way I can let myself buy some of the gorgeous ones on this page.

- These journals are beautiful. I wish I could journal on a regular basis. I go through spurts... I do great for a month, forget to journal for two months, journal again for a month, and so on. Funny thing is I see how beneficial it is when I do journal on a regular basis, so why can't I stay with it? Sigh...

- I love the way these journals look. The Nomad Distressed Journal really peaked my interest. I don't journal... but my Big Sister and my niece do. I'll keep these in mind for them.
The hand made journal in red is something I think I might have to get just for the coffee table. I love that style! Thanks so much for sharing.
