The point I am trying to make here is a simple one. The quality of the actual leather will make all the difference in the world.

Pure Aniline Leather: Is undoubtedly the finest leather in the world. It is also the rarest type of leather because it is the costliest.

Full Aniline Leather: Comes in second after pure aniline leather. This type of leather is polished a little bit and is not left completely natural like pure aniline. You can say they are slightly processed.

Top Grain Leather: You will hear many salesperson give accolades to this type of leather and it is good leather but it is not the best. The best is actually full grain leather so if a salesman tries to persuade you that top grain leather is the best, tell him otherwise.

You can easily get overwhelmed by the different types of leather. The bottom line is you do not have to spend a fortune to get great quality leather. You can find some excellent pieces of furniture in clearances and you can even find them at auctions. You can also find a great deal online, you simply have to search for a reasonable deal. Take your time and don't rush into buying a certain kind of leather because the salesperson is telling it is one of a kind and whatever.
