LED Candles For Convenience, Safety and Long Life
LED Candles can be used in places where wax candles would be dangerous say near curtains or where there are small children or pets. They complement traditional wax candles but are generally better in places where you are not frequently present or where you want to provide a little extra light e.g. stairwells.
There are several different types including those requiring replace batteries and those which are rechargeable, some have timers. Some have real wax exteriors for maximum authenticity. All flicker, but same change color, some have switches, others are switched on or off by shaking them , some may even be blown out.
The 24 hour timer function will turn candle on automatically every night at the same time and shut off after 5 hours. Typically such a flameless candle will run approximately 350 hours on one set on a set of 2 C Batteries.

Your Experience of LED Candles
My rechargeable LED Candles last about 24 hours before needing a recharge. My Led Candles are recharged wirelessly by sitting them in a docking station. I still use traditional candles but mostly for special occasions in our living room. Led candles resolve many of my safety concerns. Also although I am a wax candle enthusiast I have to admit that we've had at times molten wax flow down walls and soot shadows on wallpaper.

- LED candles certainly are a safe alternative to traditional candles. Just recently there have been two house fires in my area due to forgotten candles left burning with thousands of dollars in damage in both cases...I'm guessing those folks will be turning to LED candles for their ambiance in the future and now there are so many LED colors and even scents. I love your fairy jar solar light, cute...it reminded me of catching fireflies and putting them in a jar when I was little.

- I've yet to try LED candles. I guess part of my reluctance is that I'm worried they just won't compare to the real thing!
The safety reasons for using LED candles is obviously apparent, but what about the lovely smell that candles offer?
Plus the flicker of a real candle can really set the most perfect mood in a room.

- I saw these at a pub. Insurance companies should insist on them instead of candles in pubs.
