The use of LED bulbs has become more common in luxury cars. LED bulbs are now not only installed in brake and tail lights but has been commonly installed in the front. The requirement for European luxury cars to provide daytime running lights has used LED significantly.

LED bulbs are superior to the leading stock bulbs. They are energy efficient and run longer than the stock. LED bulbs provide a clear bright white light to improve the driving experience. LED bulbs are also more durable on the road.

Older models of cars and motorcycles can easily switch their light bulbs to LED. LED will provide a newer and stylish look to the older cars. Replacing to LED bulbs provide the best lighting to this day in automotive technology. LED replacement bulbs are common and easy to find for older models.

LED is a perfect replacement for daytime running lights. The conservative power and longer lifespan is a good installation for daytime running lights. LED is not yet able to replace headlights due to the lack of illumination, but a perfect replacement for daytime running lights.

Problems with LED bulbs

Troubleshooting and Technical Help

Unfortunately there are three main problems with installing LED to cars and motorcycles

            1. Bulb out or CanBus Warnings

            2. Indicators/Side Repeaters flashing too quickly

            3. Bulbs failing to fit

Problems 1  is caused by the LED's own benefit: low power consumption and now this problem can be solved by using the newest Error Free LED bulbs with built-in CanBus controller.

Bulb Out system and modern CanBus system both are unfamiliar with low power bulb consumption so LED can create errors into the systems. Fortunately, adding a resistor will solve the error. The resistor increases the bulb resistance allowing the LED bulbs to function properly. Many bulbs have already built in resistors in today's market.

Error Free LED bulbs

Problems 2 usually happens on turn signal lights and can be solved by adding exterior Load Resistors.

A failed bulb will cause the indicator to flash too quickly. LED will create false quick flashes as well. The solution to this problem would be to install an in-line resistor or replacing the indicator flasher unit specifically to consume lower power.

LED bulbs are designed to possess the same fitting as regular stock bulbs. However, LED bulbs can vary in smaller or larger sizes. Tail and brake lights are usually spacious but areas such as sidelights and indicators may have limited space and require the exact fit of LED bulbs. Be sure to check the correct sizes of LED bulbs before replacing your stock bulbs.
