This song was first just a really rocking tune to cruise around and listen to, then it became a sad tale that I could relate with, and finally it is now a deeply enticing story about love and life in general that I think can be applied to many different situations on life.
It is hard to truly understand the meaning of this song just by reading the lyrics online, they read something like "baby baby baby, oh baby, baby baby, oh no baby..." you get the idea, but when listening to the song and hearing Robert Plant's voice overwhelmingly sorrowful, with it's raw power and emotion, the words are more descriptive than can possibly be imagined by just reading the lyrics.
