Who is Lee Hyori

The enchanting goddess, Lee Hyori is a South Korean actress and singer who was born on May 10, 1979 in Choong Book, South Korea as the youngest among three (3) children.

She first came to stardom as the leader of a teenage kpop group, Fin.K.L. (Final Killing Liberty) that officially debuted on May 22, 1998 with their first single, "Blue Rain".

Her solo album, entitled Stylish...E, was released a year after the release of Fin K.L.'s fourth album, Forever .

She nearly swept the 2003 Daesangs, the most prestigious South Korean music award, winning more than seven of them, including three of the four most prestigious Daesangs.

According to the Music Industry Association of Korea, STYLISH...E hyOlee sold over 144,182 copies in South Korea alone in 2003 .

On the same year, she appeared as the lead actress in the SBS drama, Three Leaf Clover, with Ryu Jin, Kim Jung Hwa, Kim Kang Woo & Lee Hoon.

Her popularity in her various activities eventually was dubbed as the "Hyori Syndrome" in South Korea, and the Korean Media nicknamed 2003 "The Year of Hyori" as she was rarely out of the news all year.

In 2007, she played the role of Lee Na in the romantic series, Perhaps Love, co-starring Lee Dong Gun. She has also made a cameo appearance in the drama, On Air (2008).
