South Korean singer turned actor Lee Seung Gi (also known as Heo Dang) born January 13, 1987, started his singing career at the age of 17. He released his first album The Dream of a Moth in 2004 with a debut single Because You're My Girl. It became a popular ballad about 'liking an older women syndrome in South Korea.
In 2005, he made his first TV appearance in MBC's sitcom Nonstop 5 and the following year he starred as in the KBS' weekend drama, The Infamous Chil Sisters. His biggest break came when he portrays the role of Sun-Woo Hwan in Brilliant Legacy in 2009. Despite his hectic schedule in showbiz, he manage to graduate from Dongguk University taking up International Trade and Commerce in 2009 and receive a Special Achivement awards.
