How did I first discover Lee Child? By browsing the library, of course. You can discover Mr. Child by watching videos and interviews about his Jack Reacher book series.
When I saw Echo Burning by Lee Child on the shelf in my local library, I picked it up, saw it was set in Texas, and decided to read it. I had lived in Texas as a teen. I love to read books set in familiar surroundings. I needed no video interpretation for this setting.
This book turned out to be a really good choice. It has suspense, sex-appeal, and Jack Reacher!
So, that being said, keep on scrolling down so you can discover Lee Child on video. Watching the clips might help you understand Jack Reacher and his motivation.

I learned that Mr. Child is English but lives in NY and is married to an American. I found out that Jack Reacher is, in Mr. Child's own words, "rough, tough but women love him." Per capita, Mr. Child sells more books in New Zealand than anywhere. You might find out something about Mr. Childs and Jack Reacher that you did not know, too. Enjoy.
May I Suggest
Even though Mr. Child wrote the series so you can read any one of them, I suggest reading the Jack Reacher series in the order. Do not jump in by reading the newest books. I started out with Echo Burning, but that was before I knew it was part of a series.

- I'm a big fan of Lee Child. I've read every one of the Jack Reacher novels except the most recent. I have placed a hold on it at the library. Thanks for profiling one of my favorite authors
