Left 4 Dead

For anyone that has ever watched zombie movies, we often wonder how things would turn out if zombies did ever come to Earth...

Left 4 Dead (L4D) give you the opportunity to see if you would survive a zombie outbreak. Basically the goal of the game is to get to the extraction point and survive the outbreak with the help of three other human players that aren't infected.

But there are some twists to this game that haven't really been present in other first person shooters. For example, friendly fire does hurt, and there have been a number of times where I have been accidentally shot in the back while we are frantically trying to defend ourselves from the hordes of infected.

Another thing that you will notice is that every game is different - the music and zombies are controlled by the AI Director which guarantees each game will be different.

All in all, it is the best zombie game that I have ever played and it is quite addictive - in fact, there will be a lot of nights where I will happily trade a good nights' sleep to fight off the hordes of infected - you can always sleep when you are dead, right?
