My Memories Of Texas!!

Setting in my old rocking chair, passing the time of day, I remember a time, a time that has remained suspended in my minds eye! A time when I ran rampant through the woodlands and open prairies of Texas, chasing the wind of the devil!
It was a time that I had no regard for anything! Nothing mattered, nothing existed, time stood still, but my anger was on the move!

There were days in which I nearly came back to earth, yet never actually touching down! Those days were a source of frustration, lost hope, and a deep knowing that it was not to be!

So I accepted my fate, and learned to deal with it. I came face to face with it, and eventually realized, who I was! As time pressed forward, so did my understanding of my inner beast!

This inner beast was not just your usual beast! It had an unusual desire to wield petrol driven power tools, chainsaws in particular!

As the chainsaw became an extension of my soul, my anger, my love, a deep bond was forged! It was then that I knew, I had found my only true friend in this lonely world! My friend would be called "Little Joe" from that day forward!

Me and Little Joe had many adventure, and I'm sure there will be many more to come. Even as I set in my rocking chair, slowly rocking back in forth, future adventures are being planned.

You see, you must stay true to the beast within, my friend! You can not fight it, nor tame it! All you can do is go with it and become it! Well I have to go now, as Little Joe needs a little oiling and an edge put on his teeth! I can feel another adventure coming mighty soon! The devils wind is a blowing again!

Greetings this Easter weekend! I hope all is well, and that you find your perfect Easter egg...with no flaws within it's perfect structure. It reminds me of the great story of the Dahli Egghead, and how he came about being chosen to become......well....the Dahli Egghead. Many applicants are looked at for the roll of Dahli Egghead, but many fail to make the A grade.In the land of Eggoland, the very old Dahli Egghead, had just cracked his shell, and he had lost his sense of humour...thus not being able to tell or enjoy a good yolk! Before anything could be done, it was sadly too late...he was scrambled! So the search for a new replacement was put forth!

Many new hopeful eggheads came forward, there were many beautifully designed and coloured eggheads. but none could pass the test. sadly all were rotten within.The courts wise old priest, whom was blind, had a great vision one day! His vision was that of a young egghead living in a remote region of Eggoland! Immediately the wise old priest summonsed the Elite Royal Egg Crack Force, to fetch the young egghead, so as to test his shell and inner goodness! Upon gathering the young egghead and bringing him back to the Palace, the whispers in the court began....he doesn't look special!!....he's just a normal egg!.......how can he become the Dahli Egghead?...coming from a poor egghead family! The wise old priest burst out....SILENCE! are you shall all be thrown into the skillet! The court was dead silent, not even a cackle!

The wise old priest turned toward the young egghead..come forward little one! As the young egghead made his way to where the wise old priest was seated, all eggheads within the court turned slowly as to follow his movements to where the wise old priest was waiting.What is your name little one, the wise old priest asked?.....My name is Eggbert.....the little one responded! Do you tell or know any good yolks? asked the Wise old priest. The young egghead begin to gradually smile!! Yes....I do know a few good yolks, that are a crack.I have always told yolks, to keep my family entertained! My father suffered shell shock during the last Easter Crusades, so my humour has helped make things more bearable. Satisfied with the first answer, the wise old priest, moved on to the next question.

So young Eggbert, if you had a choice between being you or becoming a beautiful golden egg, adorned with jewels, which would you choose?Little Eggbert stood silent, he could hear the egg timer in the background! Slowly he raised his head and spoke softly, back to the wise old priest.....I would remain as I am! Why asked the wise old priest?Little Eggbert responded........It does not matter what an egghead appears as on the outside, it is most important what is on the inside! The great writer William Shakeanegg once said that to perform his great play "Omelette"....only the best eggheads are desirable for the parts! Those whom posses an eggo, will be cast out to the dogs!

The wise old priest was lost for words! Slowly he raised from his seated position and looked blindly out through the court! ALL RISE.....he commanded! Bow and show respect to Little Eggbert........our new Dahli Egghead! Throughout the land of Eggoland, rejoicing and festive spirit ensued! Every Egghead in Eggoland joined in to celebrate this great moment, even the bunny rabbits danced with glee! All Eggheads celebrated by painting themselves in the most vivid of colours. Dancing and telling yolks, throughout the day and night, on Little Eggberts special appointment! So when you see a colourful Easter egg, or a lovely bunny hopping about...remember little Eggbert(the Dahli Egghead), and remember that an egg should never be judged by it's appearance, but by it's contents! This is the eggonomics of it all!
