The websites I have shared are great resources for proactive questions. The trouble is that we all live such dynamic lives these days..we don't always have the chance to be proactive. We are many times forced into reactive situations...

My teenage daughter was stopped as part of a routine traffic stop. It was late and the officer decided to be cautious, since she was hugging the center lane a bit more than most cars do. She was the designated driver. As such, she had a couple of friends with her who had been drinking. The officer, upon smelling the car, decided he wanted my daughter to come downtown and take a breathalizer, to be certain she was telling him the truth.

Now, as you're reading this, you'll have the chance to be proactive and ask this question to a legal site online. However, when I got that call at 2am, I didn't have that option!
