Lego Batman Games

Regardless of whether they are using the Wii, DS or Playstation, the basics are the same. The Lego Batman Game is set in Gotham City where Batman and Robin are fighting to return the villains to the asylum. They fight across sea, land and air in various versions of the famous Batmobiles including the stealthy Batwing.

As you progress through the game you have to build things and solve puzzles in order to unlock special powers and gain the advantage. Your kids don't have to know all the ins and outs of the Batman story in order to be able to play. The Batman Lego Game, unlike games such as Lego Star Wars or Lego Indiana Jones doesn't stick rigidly to the movie script.

Each level of the game needs to be played twice! The first time you play you are in story mode and then you go on to play in free play. In story mode, you are able to unlock various characters which are then used to play in the free play mode.

Once you are in free play mode you are able to solve puzzles and release bonuses. You can also build vehicles and weapons which you can then use to fight your enemies. Each of the characters has individual moves and with different elements to the game to keep you entertained you will find that your kids won't get easily bored as they play.

You may find that if you have younger kids they may struggle a little with some of the moves. However, with a little help they should be fine and get lots of enjoyment from playing. One of the things that the kids will appreciate is that, unlike some other Wii games, you don't have to start all over again if you die but instead you simply lose coins.

One of the fun things about the Lego Batman Game is that it can be played either alone or with friends and family! A great Christmas Game which the whole family are going to love!
