Well here`s an Idea:
You could try make your own Lego Head Board with regular Lego Bricks, but i`m sure this would take many many hours to complete.
So my suggestion here is...
Why not use the BIGGER Lego Blocks such as...
LEGO DUPLO BLOCKS!
Such As Ones Pictured Below...
If you use the Lego Duplo Blocks you would get the same effect as in the picture above, they are a great way to build up a Headboard in no time at all. You will need a good Load of these Blocks, but the finished project would be AMAZING!

Certain Lego brick boxes come with a lego brick top. After removing the top, you can simply mount on the wall as art. Home Depot also carries a furniture leg (like for the base of a couch) that looks similar to a lego minil figure head when you cut an inch or so off. You can paint them to look like the heads. They come with screws attached so these can be added to each bedpost to be used as finials.
