- Hells yea I did!! I loved Lego. I genuinely wish I had kept mine. I loved the knights and wizards sets, had a load of them. When I have kids they're getting Lego, and I can play again! Really great lens. Thanks a lot for sharing.

- I loved Lego. It offered so many possibilities! It's the one toy that I think is perfect for either girls or boys without being more suited to one than the other. Not that I think toys need to be for one and not the other, but somehow most kids do gravitate to gendered toys regardless.

- We had them--and I know a software engineer who grew up to become a Lego fanatic. His boxes of Lego kits were stacked about 4 feet tall, 3 feet wide and 6 feet long in his garage!

- Lego these days can be pretty sophisticated. Buy a Lego police car and you can complement it with a police station. Then, you can have a fire station and next, go on to build a town. In other words, you can keep adding on. If you have the space AND money, the whole set can look pretty cool in your home!

- Fun! Yes, when I was a kid we had "Mini Bricks" - they were like Legos but they were all brown and small. We just built houses with them too, but we enjoyed it!

- I did not have Legos. I wonder when they were first available in the U.S? Mall of America has huge Lego displays.

- They didn't have Legos in my childhood days. We had Tinker Toys and Lincoln Logs -- and blocks, of course. But I wasn't really all that into building. When my son Jason came along at age 5, he knew all about Legos, and we used to get a lot of them for him.

- Legos have always been great! My best memories of legos revolve around helping my son build the large intricate sets. He let me separate the pieces into small groups for him while he built the object. Hours of valuable time spent with my son. Thanks for reminding me of the wonderful memories!

- The Lego is a Danish brand? I didn't know that -- it is such a remarkably clever invention which totally amazes as to what you can actually build with it!

- Great job on this lens. I would have loved having Legos when I was a kid. I remember the job my son had with them. He would create all kinds of neat things. He still has his Lego which he will be giving to his two girls.

- I grew up in the 50s in Denmark (Lego is a Danish brand) and I sure remember playing with lego - I have built at least a million houses that I dreamed up buying later in my life. Do you know that the name Lego was formed from the Danish words LEg Godt (play well), Later, it was realized that in Latin the word means "I study" or "I read". I just love "Lego Technic".
