Lego Doesn't Have to Cost a Fortune....

Lego is always a big hit with kids, but yes, some of the lego sets can cost a fortune and us parents have to join forces sometimes and look around for good ways to save a bit here and there and pick up a good bargain on the way. I have put together here some great lego sets under $20 - they will still provide the kids with hours of fun but won't break the bank balance at the same time.

Girls lego, boys lego, Star Wars lego, City lego etc, it's all here for you. Maybe you are just starting out into the world of lego and just want to test the water first or maybe like me, you have spent up for Xmas but just want to get them that last lttle treat. It can be so hard knowing when to stop at Xmas. When you find out how to put the brakes on, let me know :)

Yes there are some good sets depending on what your kids or you want... i know for my kids i usually buy two or three $50 sets for my boys to share and one or two of these sets really completes the look and playability...

It depends on what you are looking for really. It's not always practical to get the larger more expensive sets, but there are usually some good cheaper ones that complement them. Lego is great, and the best thing is it virtually lasts forever.

We have all sorts of Lego...lots of Star Wars although it is stored away right now since both guys are too busy with being teens/young adults right now to find time to build.

My little neice has the bigger lego blocks as she is too young for any of the smaller pieces. Lego nowadays is so much better than what it used to be when I was young

I've already got most of the above and my boy is only 6! (help!) :) ... and I know there will be plenty more to come! :) And I myself love playing the lego video games too (cause I'll be a be kid at heart) :)
