LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon

LEGO Star Wars Millennium FalconThe new LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 7965 set from Lego is planned for release in August 2011 and it will retail for $139.99. For this price range, this is one of the most authentic Lego replicas of the Millennium Falcon. The model is highly detailed as can be seen in the videos and photos. In all, there are a total of about 1,200+ Lego pieces. Therefore, build difficulty won't be incredibly challenging. After building the model it's great for displaying or playing.

Some LEGO Star Wars enthusiasts have claimed that this version is more movie-accurate than previous versions, such as the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 4504. In fact, you may notice that it has a vastly improved turret and cockpit design when compared to the older generation. Additionally, compared to prior models, this newer model doesn't collapse when you pick it up. That means that kids can actually play with this model unlike previous iterations. Recreating scenes from the Star Wars movies will now be a possibility and will make this model even funner than the older version.

The LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 7965 set will be available this August 2011. This set is recommended for children, enthusiasts, and collectors ages 9 and up.

LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 7965

LEGO Star Wars Millennium FalconWhen the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 7965 spacecraft model is opened up, it reveals plenty of play features inside. There is a movable boarding ramp on this model. However, the boarding ramp is not mechanical like in some other models. Two figures can be placed inside the Gunner Station. And then there's the smuggling compartment that accommodates one mini figure. The smuggling compartment can also be released from the bottom of the Millennium Falcon. This version of the Millennium Falcon even features rotating guns.

The LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 7965 set includes six mini Lego Star Wars action figures. The six mini figures are Han Solo, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Chewbacca, and Darth Vader. Luke is packaged with a helmet and a new hair piece. The new hair piece is much better than prior editions. Unfortunately, the mini figures of Lando, Nien Nunb, C-3PO, R2-D2 are not included.
