The Lego Star Wars Sets were a great addition to Lego's themes. Everyone loves Legos and tons of people love Star Wars. So put them together and you have fantastic toys for spending hours putting together and playing with. In 1999 the first Lego Star Wars sets were released. The first sets were based on the original Star Wars movies. Then as the prequels were released more Lego sets were made. The newest sets are based on The Clone Wars movie and cartoon series. In 2005 the video game was released and it was a huge hit. The Star Wars video game was so much fun and so popular that 2 more games were made the following years.
