Lego City Advent Calendar: Keep Track of the Days Before Christmas in a Fun Way

I purchased the Lego City Advent Calendar for myself a few years ago. Yes, I bought this for me. I wanted to participate in the Advent season in a fun way, and I knew that as much as I loved chocolate, this advent calendar was just perfect. I know, it's created for kids, but I really wanted to get back in touch with why Christmas can be so much fun.

The advent calendar, of course, is perfect for your children too. If they are fans of the Lego City series, this is the perfect way to help them build on their collection while getting them to participate in the Christmas season in a fun and positive way. You can even turn the "unveiling" of the day's Lego set into a religious lesson as you engage your child in a meaningful discussion about the Reason for the Season.

How can you use your Lego Advent Calendar?

Though the Lego Advent Calendar isn't intended as a religious tool, you could choose to use it as one if you like. The intent of the set is to build anticipation for Christmas by allowing your child to have one small toy per day. Advent calendars are timeless, and Lego's version has become a staple in my personal Christmas repertoire.
