Are you struggling to find a Lego Darth Vader?

Star Wars Lego kits have been produced for over ten years now and over the years there have been a loads of minifigures representing the various characters from the films. However, some characters are more difficult to find than others and Lego Darth Vader is one of them.

Even though the Darth Vader minifigure has been around since the Star Wars Lego kits were first made he is one of the rarest figures to find. This is because until recently he was only available in certain kits and these tended to be quite expensive. Lord Vader is now easier to find, but not necessarily in the sort of kits you'd expect!

So if you really want a Lego Darth Vader minifigure, how do you go about getting your hands on one?

The Lego Darth Vader minifigure is the best of the bunch! Despite only being a couple of inches tall, the Lego Sith Lord really captures the dark presence of the film character.

Darth Vader's black helmet is recreated in great detail, and underneath it you will find a grey head painted with a battle-scarred face. Vader's tunic is recreated nicely too, complete with the buttons and markings that you'll see in the film, and on his back you will find a long black cloak.

The final detail is the lightsabre, an essenial part of the minifigure that leaves you in no doubt that this is an evil character - everybody knows that red lightsabres are carried by the baddies!

The range of Lego is relatively new but is growing, and the Star Wars minifigures are proving very popular. Basically you're getting a minifigure with a chain attached to its head, but it's one way of making your bunch of keys look a bit more fun.

The Darth Vader keychain, released in September 2008, gives you the Dark Lord himself. The only problem is that he's missing his lightsabre - but it'd only get knocked off and lost in your pocket or bag.

While it might not seem the obvious way to get your hands on a Darth Vader minifigure, the new Darth Vader watch comes complete with the Dark Lord, complete with lightsabre.

The dial of the watch features a picture of Darth Vader on a black background, with white numbers, greay hour and minute hands and a red second hand. The bezel surrounding the face can be swapped and comes with a choice of red or black. The strap can be adjusted to size by adding or removing the Lego link studs.
