LEGO CITY PAST & PRESENT
LEGO has produced town and city themed sets since the idea of sets with instructions to build a specific model was invented. In fact the very first LEGO set with instructions, the 1965 "House With Garage", was a town set. It featured a flip-up garage door which I still have in my collection and which still works (from a different set, not that specific one).

Over the years, City and Town sets have been more (or less, in some years) realistic. Over the last few years we have seen some super-realistic City sets such as Cafe Corner and the Greengrocer, alongside the more typical LEGO City theme sets like the Airport.

    I used to have the old Lego City Sets now i own the New Lego City Sets I leave them boxed and store them away until i have enough room to build it and display the sets as a funcional Lego Town :)

    Lego's been favorite toy in our family for generations. My girls still play with some 30 years old sets. My younger one got one of these farm sets for Xmas and it's so cool. Great lens! I'm lensrolling it to my Lego brick lens :)
