LEEEGO!

I love Lego!

How I got acquainted with them bricks

type=textI was a little tot when my mum brought home a set of Lego blocks. The Lego blocks made a police car which I thought was the coolest thing on Earth. Meanwhile, I was already building a huge cache of Lego bricks. I would place them inside a locked glass cabinet and have it displayed to my friends.

My first Lego police car is similar to the image beside this text:(I can't really remember exactly what it looked like. All I remember is Lego made my childhood days worth living ;) )

Time went on and it was sad to let go of the Lego stuff I had. My parents donated my little Lego people and their homes and their cars and their horses and their castles and their ships to charity. I did know the value of Lego back then, but when I check eBay or another online store for some vintage Lego bricks I'm amazed by the value. Oh heavens!

Lego bricks are HUGELY versatile!

type=text

The Lego Group calculated that just eight-stud bricks can be arranged in 915,103,765 different ways. If you combine the November 2010 population data of countries like the United States, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan and France, you can have one Lego arrangement per person in that combined population!

    I find Lego very educational especially with the new architecture range. However I would like to have seen and would have bought an Eiffel Tower. It is an iconic and marvellous structure and would be very instructive for building techniques.
    kind regards

About The Trivia Geek

aka budgetgeek in Squidoo lensmasters profiles

My real name is Mikey. I'm about to be 30 but like Peter Pan I refuse to grow up! Plainly because there are so many great things from my childhood days to share, but, ah, as the poem "Desiderata" says "Take kindly the counsel of the years,gracefully surrendering the things of youth. " Yes. Truer things have never been said. Anyway, I'm enjoying my stay here in Squidoo, and I'll try my very best to come up with awesomely awesome things to share!
