Lemmy Kilmister - Motorhead Vocalist, Bass Guitarist & Rock Legend!
Lemmy's given name is Ian Fraser Kilmister, and he was born in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, England in 1945.
Lemmy played in several bands before joining space rock legends Hawkwind in 1971, as a singer and bass player. Lemmy performed lead vocals on their biggest hit Silver Machine.
After being fired from Hawkwind in 1975, Lemmy formed a new band which eventually became Motorhead and the rest is history!
Motorhead have released 20 studio albums, along with numerous live and compilation albums, EPs and singles including the classic Ace of Spades.
Lemmy is famed for his distinctive gravelly vocals, legendary bass playing and his forthright personality and has made numerous cameo appearances on film and TV both as an actor and as himself and has even appeared in a feature length documentary film "Lemmy" released in 2010.
