Lemon Sponge Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 200g plain flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 200g butter
- 4 medium size eggs
- 150g caster sugar
- 1 lemon zest and juice
- icing sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 300F.
2. In a mixing bowl, whisk all the ingredients until smooth.
3. Pour into a buttered tin and bake for 20 - 50 minutes.
4. When cooled, sift icing sugar on top.
5. Enjoy.
