First of all the master cleanse or lemon diet has been around for 50+ years and some things have evolved and actually improved over the years. Second, it is a recipe you must follow just like baking a cake if you don't follow the direction you're more than likely to be very disappointed by your results. Many people complain and say that the lemon diet is a scam where this is not the case at all. Another problem that ties into the discussion at hand is you need to read all the info and make sure you know what to expect when doing the master cleanse. Too many people give up at the first sign of discomfort when in fact discomfort is a sign of progress and that your body is starting to detoxify itself.
