HERE'S THE PROBLEM
Should Len Goodman Retire From Dancing with the Stars?
Len Goodman is one of the pre-eminent dancing judges in the World. He is respected by his peers, competitors and the industry in general.
But, has his time has passed?
For the last few seasons of Dancing with the Stars he has shown he is out of touch with modern dancing, and is too set in his ways.
With respect, perhaps it is time for Mr. Goodman to hang up the judges shoes just as has hung up his dancing shoes.

Len adds quality and professionalism to the judging. It is no accident he is a respected judge. He concentrates on the technique of dancing rather than pleasing the crowd. If he goes I go and so goes the show!

The show says "DANCING with stars" Len seems to be the only consistent one who insists on "DANCING" competence. Entertaining is fine and I like it BUT in the final analysis it's DANCING that it's supposed to be about. If it's the entertainment which is paramount then lets forget the judging for dance and have a show called "Entertainment with the Stars"

He's integral to the show and one of the main reasons that it is a success. The unarguable fact is that he is an expert - even moreso than Bruno and Carrie Ann (who I also think should stay put). Appreciate Len - quite often you don't know what you've got till it's gone.

Len Goodman on Wikipedia
Leonard Gordon "Len" Goodman (born 25 April 1944) is a British professional ballroom dancer, dance judge, and coach. He is a leading personality on television dance programmes, and runs a ballroom dance school in Dartford, Kent.
If Len left who could replace him?

- any pro dancer that can dance ballroom could replace len . the other 2 judges NEED replaced also. their opinions are stale. carrie ann is always partial to her nationality it is sooo apparent...

- I would be appalled if Len left the show! Therefore I don't think anybody should replace him. I like all of the judges BUT Len brings seems not to be swayed by whether the contestent is sexy, or popular with the crowd, or any other factor but concentrates on the technical requirements of the dance in question. One person like that is required. As an aside - I also like his dry wit! If he were to go I think I would lose interest in the show. Let's face it the general public hasn't much idea as to the technical requirements of one dance or another!
