Boy Do I Have Great News For You! ;-)

Idon't know if you've heard but Google's own statistics show that 80% of individuals who opt in to get info on a product...ANY product - be it computer software, baby booties, dog food, your network marketing opportunity, or whatever - will take action and purchase the particular product within the course of one year.

And why is this such great news?

Because it means that when someone opts into your landing page to receive information about your business and you've got them in your marketing funnel, "all" you need to do is make enough of an impression on the person that when the time is right for them, they will come back to you -- they will choose YOUR opportunity rather than the gazillion other ones they have researched in the meantime.

Sound like an impossible task? It's not...

Allow me to prove it to you!

Offering Value
_____________

Okay, so how do you do this, then? How do you set yourself apart?

Well, you've got to give your prospect a reason to choose to work with YOU over everyone else. And you do this by offering value. You build rapport through a series of follow-up messages where you freely offer your expertise, share your experience and firmly establish yourself as a leader.

The idea is to offer so much value that instead of just right away going for the delete button, your prospects end up highly anticipating each and every one of your emails.

These automated messages are your chance to build that relationship with your prospective rep which you didn't have the chance to establish during the few moments they spent going through your ad, landing page or website.

And you do it the same way you'd go about building any relationship -- over time, and in "drips": a personal story here, some great marketing tips or a book recommendation there...

By the way, you don't need to limit yourself to plain text emails. One thing you can do is create some simple websites where you post educational video messages, and then provide your leads with the appropriate links in your auto responders.

It naturally takes a bit of time to get all this up and running, but the beauty of automation is that once it's up it's up and you can focus on other things while your little army of messages is out there doing the work for you.

Drip, drip, drip, drip...

It's Attraction Marketing in action.

Attraction Marketing & Web 2.0

(A fiery marriage!)

Who Else Wants More FREE Leads and Customers for Their MLM Network Marketing Business?

"Romancing" Your Customers _________________________

The mother of a good friend of mine, a widow, was pursued relentlessly by two different men in the months following her husband's death, yet (- or perhaps for that exact reason -) she continued to reject their advances.

When she remarried several years later, it was to a fellow who was a lot more delicate in the way he approached her. He didn't push her...he didn't rush her. Instead he took his time and focused on building trust and getting to know her and her needs before he eventually proposed.

Attraction Marketing is a lot like dating.

You need to build a relationship with the people on your list before you propose "marriage".

See, we all prefer to buy from and do business with people we like and trust. This is in particular true in this day and Internet age where the next and "better" offer is never more than a click away, and where information overload prevails, often causing otherwise good prospects to become jaded.

Truth is, we simply have too many insensitive jerks pounding at our door, wanting to "date" us. What's more, the majority of them are only out to take advantage of us -- and we know this.

But building trust takes time and effort, something which a lot of newbie marketers fail to recognize: if they haven't made the sale after two or three follow-up calls and emails, they write the prospect off, concluding that they simply aren't interested.

And in failing to follow up properly, they're potentially passing up a small fortune in the process.

Monetizing Your List
_________________

Recently - with a simple click of the mouse - I sent out a broadcast message to my list of several hundred leads.

In the email I talked about the fact that I'm currently taking part in a "90-day challenge" where I'm learning to utilize web 2.0 marketing from a couple of marketing wizards who pulled in $2 million in sales in one year with NO advertising costs.

In my message I also mentioned that to get a sneak peak of what I had learned so far they could watch my first series of videos on youtube, and then I signed off with my youtube link.

Sending out this broadcast message served several purposes:

1) It instantly drove lots of traffic to my videos. (As you may know, among other things Google ranks your video by the number of views it gets.)

2) It added a thick layer of trust to the relationship I was building with my list of prospects and helped established me as a "real person".

3) It helped position me as an expert and added great value to me as a marketer. (Now, not only was I a professional internet marketer, but one who was learning all the secrets to generating a constant stream of high-quality leads free of charge!)

4) It made my opportunity look a lot more attractive as my prospects now had the chance to learn from me those very same free, cutting edge, lead-producing techniques.

Being the Leader
_______________

The above is an example of efficient, leveraged follow-up. You can continue to "work" your list like this any time you make an important update to your website, post a new blog, add a new video to your channel, etc.

And every time you do this you create confidence in yourself as a leader and an expert.

You may not realize it but people are watching you. Some people may in fact watch you for months before they decide to come in. They want to see evidence of consistency, integrity, and competence before they are willing to commit.

And one more thing...

In the process of sharing all this valuable information with your list, you are also 'pre-training' your future reps. Fill your emails with great insights, personal development tools and practical tips on marketing, and when the 'slow movers' join your business further down the road, they'll already know the basics and can really hit the ground running.

Now that's what I call leadership... ;-)
