Get More Ratings on Your Lenses
One of the (many) secrets of getting a good Lensrank is the star ratings that other Lensmasters can give to your lens. Getting them to actually visit your lens is hard enough, yet sometimes they leave without clicking on the stars at the top.
This widget can be put anywhere on the lens (for example, near the bottom underneath the Guestbook), and it allows visiting members to submit their ratings.

Add This Widget to Your Lens
To begin, click this link ยป
(opens in a new tab or window)
Then, you'll see a screen similar to the one shown below. Assuming that you are logged in to Squidoo, you will be able to select any one of your lenses from the first drop-down menu. You can then fill in the module's title, sub-title and description, just like you would for any other module.
Once you are happy with the details, click on the big blue 'Continue' button at the bottom. This will then load up your selected lens in the workshop, where you can refine the module's placement and contents.
The new widget will appear on your lens as soon as you've published it.

If you are an active member of Squidoo, and you want to be able to quickly rate the lenses that you visit, then get the Squidoo Toolbar - it has all of the social functions on a easy to access menu, plus other useful shortcuts.

- I'm not sure I really get the point of the rating widget... members can rate the page at the top or bottom so I figure if they want to give my lens a rating they will. For non-members, the bookmark widget makes more sense and I use that one regularly.
