No, this is not just another guy looking for work and trying to make quick money. First I am retired, so most of what I do is for my pleasure as well as to benefit other people.

My first website was started in 1996 with Notepad and has been added to over the years. It has a mixture of self created pages and built in links to other websites. Check out One to One marketing.

Why create a Lens? Well, there are many reasons and everybody will have a different view. If you are an individual with a hobby or personal view then Squidoo is great way to create a free page, and have the world find it. Linking to your existing website provides another link, which is good for page ranking.

But Squidoo is much, much more. The majority of current users are using it as a quick, simple way to buy, sell, promote or marketing their company. The tools provided are extensive and with a great Forum to join and get answers to most questions, you cannot go wrong using Squidoo.

Now you should also create Lens using the new Ever Project resource, It's great, quick and has many benefits. I have also shown the group to join below.

You may ask, what is a Lensography? In short, it is a Lens that you create that lists all of your Lenses and groups together all in one place. You then place a link, using the "Featured Lens" module and add this to every Lens and group.

The reason is that when people find anyone of your creations, they can easily see all of them. Check out my Lensography and see how it works.

Everybody can and will have a website, whether it is on Squidoo, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube or as free pages from their ISP or a their own fully developed website.

Now you can have a Squidoo Lens, Blog, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, the list is endless. One advantage of a website is the bringing together of all of your Internet sites under one address. This also helps your page ranking figure.

I am still working on the text for this module. At the moment a number of companies which have existing websites, need help on increasing their page ranking, or need lots of support to get listed in the major search engines. That's taking a lot of my time.
