Why is my lens "Under Construction?"

How do I view or edit my lens?

Welcome to Squidoo! At Squidoo, we're all about quality, that's why we give you a chance to finish your lens before showing it to the world. If your lens isn't finished yet, when you try to view it, you'll see an "Under Construction" sign. This lets readers know the lens is in progress, and will be visible once it's published.

Why do I get an "Under Construction" message?

If you've started a lens, but have never published it (not even once) it will show up as "under construction." The only thing you need to do to get it to show is to publish it!

We've recently redesigned the workshop so in your "edit" screen, a lens looks much like it will once it's published, so go ahead, take some time, and perfect the details. When you're ready to send it out into the world, go ahead and click that big yellow PUBLISH button.

(While "publish" is forever, you can ALWAYS edit it. In fact, we encourage it!)

    If you have published a lens with three or more completed modules, try clearing the cache and refreshing the page.

  • I tried to publish a lens but I got an error message stating it was a SquidDon't.
    There are some topics on Squidoo we just don't allow. Try starting another lens on a new topic.
