    Dear Fluff,
    I have the SquidUtils toolbar, but why do you need the Greasemonkey?
  • thefluffanutta Mar 19, 2011 @ 5:54 am | delete
    Greasemonkey is for the "Workshop Addon" for Firefox, as described on this lens. The "SquidUtils Toolbar" is a different thing, and doesn't need Greasemonkey. You can have both.
  • RinchenChodron Mar 16, 2011 @ 1:38 pm | delete
    I have no clue what to do with that script. I used to use squidutils but not on a toolbar and now I'm totally confused. I think this programming is about my level.
  • ukgreetingcards Mar 15, 2011 @ 3:06 pm | delete

  • PatinKC Mar 6, 2011 @ 10:37 pm | delete
    I was editing a lens when my grease monkey disappeared. I've updated firefox to the latest version, and tried reinstalling GM half a dozen times. I've been to Firefox help and GM help. Been trying to get this to work for a week. This happened to me in June of last year. Got any suggestions?
  • thefluffanutta Mar 7, 2011 @ 3:28 am | delete
    Did you accidentally disable Greasemonkey? Look at the bottom of Firefox for a little monkey face, and if it is grey then you need to click on it.
  • hotbrain Mar 2, 2011 @ 12:40 am | delete
    I use your add-on every day! It's great!!

  • NHgal Jan 10, 2011 @ 8:57 pm | delete
    I've just installed this add-on, and really like it. However, some of my tags are highlighted in a pale yellow color, instead of pinks or greens. What does yellow mean?

    Your Chrome version (1.8) is running OK in Chrome 7.0.503.1 dev as well. At least so far - no crashes.

    The tag colours are really useful. All I need to do now is to create some content that's worth tagging. Ho-hum.

    I need help. My workshop addon has stopped working. I tried to reinstall the script by clicking on the link above and a new window opens with a long page of code that begins like this:
    // ==UserScript==
    // @name Squidoo Enhanced
    // @namespace squidutils

    Thanks!
  • thefluffanutta Jun 29, 2010 @ 7:37 am | delete
    Pat - it looks like you might have disabled Greasemonkey by mistake. Look on the status bar at the bottom of Firefox for a monkey face - if it is grey then you need to click on it to enable it.

    If you don't see a monkey anywhere, then try installing Greasemonkey again, and then the script (see above).
  • PatinKC Jun 29, 2010 @ 12:56 pm | delete
    GM won't install. :-( Apparently, it is not working with the latest Firefox. ( see comments on the GM install page )
    Aggghh! I need my workshop addon!!!
    I hope they fix this soon!

    I appreciate you!

  • Swisstoons Apr 28, 2010 @ 10:12 am | delete
    This morning, I noticed that all of my tags in all of my shops were highlighted in red instead of the customary green. I came here and installed the GreaseMonkey update, but it had no effect. I wonder if anyone else is having the same problem. I am no computer whiz; far from it. But I can't imagine what I might've done to cause this.
  • thefluffanutta Apr 28, 2010 @ 10:30 am | delete
    Don't worry, it's nothing you've done. Squidoo have updated their pages this week, which has stopped the tags from being coloured correctly.

    I'll be releasing an updated version of this addon later today, to fix this problem and also with some exciting new features.
  • Rewards4life Apr 19, 2010 @ 1:32 pm | delete

    Where can you get the scripts for SquidLit, Twttrlst etc n Squidoo?
    Thanks for your help.
  • thefluffanutta Mar 30, 2010 @ 11:16 am | delete
    You need to restart Firefox after installing Greasemonkey, and before you install the script from this page.

    When installing the script under Google Chrome, you need to right-click on the link and select 'Save Link as...' from the menu. You need to put it in the directory indicated by the other page - create the directory if it doesn't exist.
  • dannystaple Jul 9, 2009 @ 9:40 am | delete
    Thanks fluff - nice tool. I am thinking if there is a way to make that installation less intimidating for the less technical crowd. I was please to see the group stats there - I was not sure how to get to those without this addon.

    This is a great plugin. I was using Squidoo on my kid's PC the other day and I could not figure out why the Ping option was missing after I published a lens. This plugin is so smoothly integrated into Squidoo that you will come to think of it as part of Squidoo! If you use Firefox you should get this - hands down, no questions - download it yesterday!
  • GoodBug May 18, 2009 @ 6:50 pm | delete
    I'm all sorted! Because I have the SquidUtils toolbar I assumed I already had the GreaseMonkey bit and I didn't.

    This is just fabulous! I haven't fully explored everything yet but I'm loving what you've done to the tags. And the Lens Rank update.

    Thank you Fluff. Excellent job. A big Squiddo-kiss for you!

    You need to install the Greasemonkey plugin for Firefox first, detailed in step 1 of the installation instructions. If you're using Internet Explorer or Safari, then this won't work.
  • GoodBug May 18, 2009 @ 4:32 pm | delete
    Sorry to be dense, Fluff - but is that just a left click and then I should see something different in my dashboard? When I left clicked I was taken to a page of html code.

    It sounds great anyway and I'm sure I just haven't done it quite right. Will go back and have another go.
