Free Decorations Backgrounds Spacers and More

The text modules only let you upload one photo from your computer, if you want more, then you need to store them on the internet where you can get a URL, then use HTML to put them in your module.

It's good to do that anyways, because when you add tags, they show up in the URL that you put in the HTML and that shows up when someone scrolls over the photo and is also picked up by Google's photo search. They are called Alt Tags.

Photobucket is easy to use, but I'm sure there are others. What's nice about Photobucket is that you can copy other photos to your account. Like if you see some of mine you like, just click copy to my account.

You may copy and keep that if you like.

The height can be changed, usually tall skinny photos need 460 or so, long skinny photos like spacers only need 20-80.

The border color and thickness can be changed or taken out. plus there are thousands of ways to do decorative HTML.

I know HTML looks intimidating, but after you have copied a bunch, had to look over some to see what is wrong and typed out some your self, it's amazing what you have learned when you look back. It's not so bad and it's fun.

When ever I find a Squid toy or item, I use it in a few photos. Please feel free to use them.

Anything I have here in lenses or Photobucket, please feel free to use. I would be flattered. I got such a kick out of seeing a squid dude I made being used for a Squidoo group on Facebook.

I wont move these photos ever, but just to feel safe you may copy them over to your own Photobucket account. When you mouse ove a photo the option shows.
If you don't have Photobucket just screen print it and paste it into your paint to crop.

Screen print is a way of making an exact copy of your screen. You dont really print it, it just copies. At the same time hold down the key on the top right of your key board that has a "prt sc" and the button on your lower left, usually second over. You have to practice to figure out which ones because all keyboards are different.

The Purpose of spacers is not only to show a separation for a new subject but also for "Pattern Interrupt". Pattern interrupt is a web copywriter's way of getting people's attention back into the subject. It's a psychological thing.. If you have a bunch of copy going, throwing in an odd photo or spacer will help keep the person interested.

Spacers are easy!

Just about anyone has MS paint or similar artsy program on their computer. Just select a nice photo and cut the part out in a long bar that you like. In MS paint there is an option to shrink or make the photo bigger, where you can actually stretch the photo out by increasing the length and shortening the height.
