The Wind Beneath My Squid Angel Wings
I have been fortunate to have had many lenses blessed by Squid Angels and I was thrilled when I heard those bells tinkle for my earned wings.
Although the bells rang on Saturday, March 26th, via an email from Bonnie, I got off to a slightly late start. I found the message a couple of days after that during a weekly routine check-and-purge of my spam folder. (I am including this bit of info here so those who are on the waiting list for wings will not miss out by having the same thing happen.)
My first assigned neighborhood is Home Decor/Other and, as of April 25th, I'm also covering Gardening /Perennials, so most of my angeling will be done in those areas, with the exception of special duty quests (such as the April Fool's Day trip) and irresistably bless-worthy lenses I might find in other categories. Angels are allowed to bless lenses in any category, as long as the vast majority are in their own neighborhood(s).
Needless to say, I am honored and privileged to join this select group on Squidoo.

Ahh. Autumn in New York. Back to school, dwindling daylight, cooling days and cooler nights, the rustle of falling leaves in gold and russet, the faint scent of wood-burning stoves and fireplaces, birds (and some people) flying south. During The Squid Angel Memorial Day Bus Tour Quest
Since I like to eat and cook, I decided to board the bus tour and spend some time sprinkling angel dust while gathering some "Must try" mouthwatering recipes from around the globe. It was difficult to choose from so many so I looked for variety although, admittedly, many of my choices were based on my own taste preferences and favorite flavors. All of the following are outstanding examples of masterful lenscrafting and deliciously tantalizing foods. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did and will continue to do as I personally try each one.

- Time really does fly by very quickly when you are enjoying what you do. I think that once we find Squidoo we become addicted quite quickly so flying just seems to come natural here. Congratulations on 2 years on Angel-ing on Squidoo.
