Group Efforts

With gas prices as high as they are and us stuck out in the boonies, we're finding ways to entertain ourselves without "going anywhere" this summer. We've made mud baths outside, taken long bike rides, worked in the garden, done puzzles, played with toads and bugs, built forts, and lots of other fun things. When the kiddos showed interest in what I was doing here on Squidoo they jumped at the chance to help out! Here are our "group" lenses that we've had fun building together.

Teach Your Children Well...

All of my family's lenses give 20% or more of lens revenue to Squidoo non-profits. Longhopes and The Wild Animal Sanctuary are our personal favorites. We are deeply dedicated to these two organizations and are grateful that we are able to help.

A Collaboration With My "Little Girls" - Almost 3 and 5

Input From The Whole Tribe

My 9-year-old Son

He's getting good at this!

Building Squidoo lenses is an excellent activity for my son who has dyslexia. He's working on his keyboarding, spelling, organizational skills, and more and doesn't even realize it!

And With My "Almost All Grown Up" Oldest Daughter

Because 12-year olds are practically teenagers, you know!

And Her Independent Efforts

Goodness, she couldn't share an account with Mom, could she??

And yes, I chose the main graphic for this lens (the baby girl) just to get her goat.

Her Own, Personal Lenses

And The Rest

My main lensography.

You are blessed with wonderful kids! And what better way to develop inquisitive and independent minds than to build Squidoo lenses? Congratulations on a parental job well done. ^:)^

This is a wonderful family lens and Santa very much appreciates it.

Operation Santa Claus answers "Dear Santa' letters from needy children that arrive at the USPS by the hundreds of thousands each Christmas. Volunteer postal workers and American citizens volunteer their time and money to answer letters from children who would otherwise have nothing at all. Please visit us at http://www.operationlettertosanta.com to find out more about this wonderful program.

What a great idea. And they'll be growing up learning HTML and a bit of CSS and a lot of internet skills. Great parenting :) and SOO much better for them than watching tv.

For now I'm making lenses in my babygirl's name. Maybe she'll show some interest when she grows up to make her own. Who knows what future brings?!?
