Write like you talk. Don't try to sound like an encyclopedia - they're boring anyway. it's ok to use slang if it's understandable or you can explain a vague term. I saw a lens that mentioned using contractions - two words joined by an apostrophe. They make the reading much easier and that's (<- there's one now!) probably the way you speak anyway.

Write informative lenses that share a bit of knowledge and include some of yourself in each and every lens. And I second the purple star lenses.

Thanks you answered some of my random questions here. I did not know there was a cap on how many lenses you could make or have in your WIP if you weren't a giant squid!

Find Purple Star lenses and study them. What do you like about them? What makes them easy to read? What kind of modules do they use? How are they organized? What features do they all (or almost all) have in common? How are they different? How do they use HTML?
