    Knowing the real 'flaming lacer', this site really rings true. Thanks for the encouragement - my daughter jenny has just started her first lens (funding lydia) and all the wise words are a great help!

    I love the story about how you got your name! I'm lensrolling this to my lensography. I also really, really like your list of what you look for in a good lens. Every lensmaster needs to read lists like this. You certainly addressed a few of my pet peeves.

    Great lens. I was born in the Irvine Valley where virtually every unmarried woman was employed in a lace Factory. I now live near Nottingham famous for lace.
